As some of you noticed, the site was down for a little while. I was busy upgrading apache and while I was at it I upgraded php, mod_perl, and subversion. It gets old have to upgrade but its better than having your site hacked.

Iptables is not as easy as every one says. After three hours of toying around to get something I can live with for now. I'll have to hit the books in order to learn it better.
Well, I have decide to put some of this book learning to good use and have setup my home LAN in a more Unix like way. I don't want to give a way to much, for the crackers out there, but I think I have setup a secure site. I even put the wireless router behind another router just for the heck of it. All I can say is linux is the stuff! Anyway, more to come...

I have had this domain name since about October, and this first real page I have made for it. Its going to a long process, but I think it will be fun.
